Chelsea resident Joseph Burkhead (KE8MKR), a World ARDF Championship medalist, ARRL ARDF Committee member, military officer, professional pilot, and ELT beacon hunter with over 25 years of DF’ing experience will come talk about new and exciting foxhunting opportunities locally, nationally and internationally. He’ll discuss the glories of “foxhunting” and some innovative initiatives in Michigan to include details of upcoming local foxhunts; collaboration with outdoors, scouts and search and rescue groups; and school adoption of ARDF as a STEM curriculum for youth.
