It was about two years ago that the EZNEC Antenna Modeling Software was made free. Wes Cardone (N8QM) purchased this software several years ago (before it was made free) and has found it extremely capable and says that it should not be considered as limited to those with extreme electromagnetics knowledge. This stuff is for the average amateur radio operator. Really!
Wes will be presenting an intro to this free software at the February 2024 meeting of the Chelsea Amateur Radio Club. He’s going to show you just a hint of what it can do and will point you in the right direction to get started doing its “Getting Started” tutorials.
If there is enough interest, Wes can follow up with additional EZNEC presentations in meetings to come.
